Ascension – Michael Dransfield

Michael Dransfield was born in Sydney on 12 September 1948. He attended Sydney Grammar and (briefly) Sydney University. He worked for a while in the Australian Taxation Department as a clerk before drifting into the counter-culture and adopting the role of wandering minstrel, living mainly in the inner-city suburbs of Sydney but also travelling frequently between Queensland and Tasmania.
